Looks like a great year! I refuse to believe I’ll ever have a child old enough to do Core 100. Not going to happen! We’re continuing on with Core 1 and P 3/4 indefinitely.

We’re taking a break from Sonlight science, too. We’re using REAL Science Odyssey’s Life Science. So far, so good.

It was great to see all of the books you are using. It gave me some great ideas for my son who loves history. How are the American History Comic books? I think I will have to check them out.

Okay, I know we’ve already established that I’m a book nerd. But I seriously got giddy just looking at all of these books!!! I can’t wait to have kids so I can homeschool them and by piles upon piles of books!!!

Hello there!! Looks like an awesome year!! I looked into Sonlight before but got all confused with their catalog and since we were overseas and I didn’t get to look in person, I gave up on it. It looks really interesting though.
Do you still need the DIVE cd for math? I think I have ours if you need it. Just let me know.
Music, sorry can’t help you out there. I just used our music lessons as music class, however, this year, no one will really be taking lessons, unless I get my bottom in gear. With a new baby though, and a toddler, I’m not really sure I even want to try.

Looks like a really great year you have planned! I’m considering an Art program from How Great Thou Art. I believe the I Can Do All Things would be about right for my 8 year old daughter. Finding here and another blog or two has reinforced it as a good choice!

I love Hakim’s A History of US. After we finish WWII (which could take as long as the actual war), I plan to go back to those!

Well that is a fabulous year. What Sonlight year isn’t? =o)

I can’t wait to get deeper in core 3. The first week was nice but I want more. LOL

And how neat that you and your sister are doing the same core.

Looks like you have it all together! I love SL too. We are finishing 4 and starting 5 soon. I usually freak out if I do not finish a Core by the end of the year, but decided to extend our WWII studies a bit. They were so interested in it all. So, we are a little behind. Great post. I have the art program to use. I hope to do it this year, for sure. (That’s what I said last year, too.)
