Here’s my suggestions:

Messy house-burn the house down. Use the stack of laundry that is flowing out of your laundry room to light the blaze. Soak the clothes with gasoline and let ‘er rip.

Slumber party? Fun games like who can clean the toilet bowl ring the best? Let’s scrub the grout clean! Need to clean the oven to make the pizzas? Not only provide hours of entertainment, but then the house would be clean, and it is guaranteed that these girls will never return!

Screaming baby? Put the car seat on the roof of the car and go. Make sure baby is facing the back or bugs will fly in his mouth.

Bears? Honey, I’m a Bills fan!! Four consecutive super bowl loses!! What is worse than that?

Oh, yeah, we started off the season with a loss tonight!

I hope when your slumbering children woke you gave the two oldest a list of chores and said, “Today we are studying Home Economics. You are cleaning the house and taking care of your baby brother. The day’s success determines my mood, and we know how important that is to you. I’m taking a book to my bath tub, I will see you at a time to be determined by how wrinkled my skin becomes.”

OK, just to be clear, this was cute and all, but I hope up next is a post about the party!!! Would love to hear all about it!!

OH, and sorry I didn’t call over the weekend — sounds like you were busy anyway!! The girls fell asleep in the car and talking could have risked breaking their peaceful slumber… well, we both know the value of a peaceful car ride!!
