I really considered getting Patrick one for Christmas last year and now that a good friend on mine has one and I've been all over the place with her I'm definitely getting him a Garmin. It easily detaches to pop into the armrest or wherever and if you don't want to listen to Miss Bossy you can shut her up and just watch for the turns. Plus she gets REALLY excited when you get where you are going - it cracks me up every time. Additionally now everyone you love knows what you want and you are bound to get it by Thanksgiving.... ;) Get the GPS. It was a gift from my parents. An extravagant gift from my parents. They gave one to each child. We love the thing. We use it more than anyone else in the family. Get one. They're great! Plus, you'll get to go Geo Caching. And the Garmin Nuvi never makes inappropriate comments about your anatomy. It probably thinks them.
