Recently I received an e-mail encouraging me to send a Christmas card with a Christian message to the ACLU. The idea is to flood their mail boxes and let them know that a huge percentage of people in America are still celebrating the real meaning of the season. I almost always check the validity of these types of e-mails, and this particular one has been circulating since 2005.
But it still seemed like a good idea to me, but it was perhaps a bit misdirected. So I researched the idea a little and found a similiar campaign directed at the White House. I like this idea even better!
So, if you’d like to join me, choose a Christmas card or postcard with a Christian message and send it along to the First Family this season.

No need to get ugly. That would sort of defeat the purpose of the Christian message, wouldn’t it?

I just think that perhaps our President needs the reminder that our country was founded on Christian principles, and that many, many people still appreciate that fact.

More importantly though, as you address and sign your card, say a prayer for Mr. Obama and his family. Lifting him daily before the throne of God is bound to make more impact than a $3 card.

Who knows? Maybe next year they’ll actually have a CHRISTmas tree at the White House.
Are ya’ with me???
