Clara has been an excellent dog for us.
She is small, clean, calm and well-behaved. The only problem we’ve consistently had is floor accidents. She’s been the hardest dog to potty-train, but even that is not a large problem anymore. Her accidents are fewer and farther between and are now truly accidents…and not just confusion.
But I’m growing concerned about her appearance…

I’m also a little concerned about how Bonny Annie is curling up her toes, but that is a topic for another blog post.

Is it just me, or does she ever so slightly resemble a Gremlin?
Maybe a little like this Gremlin…

But, unfortunately, a little more like this one…

I think it’s the ears…and the eyes.
I don’t know, but just in case, I better remember those rules about the Gremlins. What were they again???
-
No bright lights.
-
Don’t put them in water.
-
Don’t feed them after midnight.
Okay, got it.

Everything and everyone in our house is potty-trained now and I’m done! No more kids or dogs! Well, except for an Old English Sheepdog. I will make a new rule for one of those.
And I think Clara looks more like the Mogwai, Gizmo, whom I adore! than Stripe. I think that’s good, right?

You certainly know how to make me laugh! I always enjoy reading your blog! And, I agree with Crossview-not STripe. STripe is evil. Clara looks like a nice Gremlin!
Have a great week!

I think you are on to something here. I can see a real resemblance. I’d be careful! (But she is awful cute!)

I wasn’t going to say it, but since you mentioned it….
I personally think “Clara”‘s diet is off kelter………….add more snickers bars…lol, that should pep her up. She appears to be suffering an accute form of post-dramatic stress disorder (of some kind?). Perhaps your husband should exercise her more often(e.g. long runs in excess of 5 mi. daily) for starters; then some time in a sauna, followed by a bowl of fruit loops. This increased diet should alter the post-dramtic look as featured in your photo’s. Personally, I’ve found “Skors Bars” to do the trick
, but I’m not a dog
